I am disappointed that the Fourth of July week came and went without an announcement from Fred Thompson that he has, indeed, entered the race to become the next president. Fred’s still testing the water. In the Rasmussen poll, Fred already is leading the entire GOP field as an “unannounced” candidate.

What to do with 12-20 million Illegals

Those hellbent on ramming a hugely unpopular amnesty bill down our throats have one question that stops most of their otherwise articulate constituents in their tracts:

Don’t call it Amnesty!

Don’t call the immigration bill before the United States Senate an “amnesty bill.” That gives the marauders masquerading as legislators an excuse to call you a “mean-spirited racist.”When you use the word “amnesty,” they look down their out-of-joint noses at you and treat your objection as a simple difference of opinion (their’s being infinitely superior). Why the Media Shunned Jessica Lynch

Last week, Jessica Lynch, America’s media sweetheart in 2003, testified before Henry Waxman’s House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform beside Kevin Tillman, whose brother, Pat, was killed in a friendly fire incident in Afghanistan. Can’t We Agree This Is Reprehensible?

Justice Anthony Kennedy did the unthinkable when writing the majority opinion for Gonzales v. Carhart, the 5-4 Supreme Court decision that upheld the federal partial-birth abortion ban. He described this procedure with painstaking detail, exposing this barbaric practice to the harsh light of day.
