Sex or Gender? (At One University Reason Prevailed)

On Monday, reason prevailed as Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s president, Dr. Michael Driscol, announced that senior Lake Ingle would be allowed to return to his religious studies class needed for graduation.

Ingle was kicked out of that class by Professor Allison Downie and accused of violating the schools Academic Integrity Code. What was Ingle’s crime? He dared to question the premise that there are more than two genders.

For the uninitiated, discussions on college campuses and most public schools have turned into politically correct indoctrinations where no contrary facts or opinions are allowed. March for Life vs. Women’s March: A Study in Contrasts

Last weekend saw tens of thousands flock to Washinton, DC and major cities throughout the United States to exercise a basic right of individuals in a free society: The right to rally and march in support of a cause: One side gathered to support life; the other side gathered to support the right to take the life of the most vulnerable among us, a child in the womb.

Forty-five years after the Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade, the two sides show up on or near the anniversary of arguably the most controversial decision ever handed down by the nation’s highest court, a decision that now hangs by a legal thread.

However, for the last two years, the pro-abortion side has morphed into an anti-Trump protest. Homosexuals, transexuals, illegal immigrants, witches, prostitutes, socialists filled the streets along with women who were not shy about expressing their distaste for the current occupant of the White House.

Why I Believe Judge Roy Moore

As this nation’s first female television sportscaster, I can tell you something about sexual harassment, although we didn’t call it that in those days. It was either a proposition or simply boorish behavior.

My first boss, who was married, came on to me. When I said, “Thanks but no thanks,” he tried to get me fired. He failed. Then, he preceded to make my life miserable at work. It was a cold war until I moved and went to work at another television station.

Once I had a co-worker who continually hit on me. He was a good man and I knew it wasn’t serious, but his constant attention and suggestive remarks were annoying. In some strange way he though this was flattering to a woman. One day I decided to take matters in hand. The next time it happened, I took a flying leap and landed in his arms in full view of everyone. He was so embarrassed, he never did it again.

Working in an almost entirely all-male environment, I found most men to be honorable, kind, respectful and extremely fair.

Miss America — The Latest Trump Bashing Spectacle (Whatever Happened to World Peace?)

As hurricane Irma ripped into Florida, Miss America’s finalists were bated into bashing President Trump. While it is too early to assess the damage, my guess is the lasting effects on this historic piece of Americana will linger long after Florida has recovered and they will not be good.

The grand finale of the iconic Miss America Pageant always has been questions thrown at the finalists. It has been the undoing of many young women in a contest where poise is as important as one’s overall beauty and talent. The objective was to answer the question confidently without saying anything too controversial or dumb. Leftists have steadfastly argued that first ladies of the United States are off limits to public criticism even when they jump off their protected pedestals, move into the West Wing and dive into the muck and mire of political issues, even when they hurl hateful insults at political opponents, dress like a tramp and, yes, even when they openly criticize our country. Hillary Clinton Hypocrisy on the Wage Gap (The Democrats Political Unicorn)

I was having brunch with some new, very accomplished, female friends when the subject of the presidential race came up. One of these friends announced that she was a Democrat because she believes in equality.

Women now control 51 percent of all wealth in the U.S. They hold 52 percent of management and professional positions. They earn more degrees of higher learning and own 30 percent of all private businesses. Still, one of the key myths promoted every election cycle is the wag gap. It’s the political unicorn used to persuade millions of women that they are victims of inequality and they need Democrats like Hillary Clinton to save them. Supremes Move Back Alley to Main Street

I remember it as though it were yesterday. I developed a fever and stomach cramps. Assuming it was the flu, I went to bed to sleep it off. When my husband came home and found me with a temperature of over 103 degrees, he insisted on taking me to the doctor despite my objections.

Upon examination, my doctor determined I had a dangerous infection and left a waiting room full of patients to accompany us to the hospital while his staff called ahead. Once there, I was immediately placed in a room, where my own doctor ran tests and administered emergency treatment himself without waiting for the hospital staff to determine my condition or be brought up to speed. The Israli Women Combat Canard

On April 27, liberals on the House Armed Services Committee attached an amendment to the 2017 Defense Authorization Act that would require our young women age 18-26 to be subject to the draft should we face a real war and an all-volunteer force prove inadequate.

Due to some smart maneuvering by Pete Sessions (R-TX), the chairman of the House Rules Committee, that amendment was stripped from the House bill, but now the Senate Armed Services Committee has adopted it. Worse than Cowardly

Imagine your beautiful 18-year-old daughter in a life-and-death struggle with an ISIS fighter in Iraq. It is kill or be killed. She must depend on her own strength. What are her chances for survival? You know the answer to that. A big fat zero.

What will Transgenders in the Military Cost America?

There are many ways to take down this powerful country:

Pack the Supreme Court with ideologues who ignore the Constitution
Dumb down public education
Increase the size and scope of government
Put more people on the public dole
Put the government in charge of healthcare
Over regulate and over tax businesses and corporations driving them offshore or out of business
Demonize the productive members of society
Refuse an international leadership role
Go back on your word to foreign leaders
Strengthen the country out to destroy us
Weaken the military

Most of these things did not begin with Barack Obama, but there is little doubt that he has picked up the pace. However, two events making the headlines this week should be enough to shake us awake from our political slumber: His bargain with Iran, which has empowered our sworn enemy and accelerated the arms race, and his decision on transgenders and the military.
