“Anchor Baby” IS Offensive — to U.S. Taxpayers

Love him or hate him, Donald Trump has brought up another serious problem that is taking our country down, one that is pressing but has been ignored by the political ruling class:  birthright citizenship.

Many of Trump’s opponents in the race for the GOP presidential nomination have tried to sidestep the issue.  Instead of viewing it as a political minefield, they should simply address it head-on.

Forget political correctness!  The term “anchor baby” is descriptive of hundreds of thousands of children who are born to mothers who come here, legally and illegally, for the soul purpose of having a child in the United States which will give them an “anchor” into this country.  It allows those with means to bypass the normal, lengthly immigration process and allows those without means, the ability to stay here indefinitely and tap into our generous welfare benefits, even those who have broken in to our country illegally.   The more babies, the more taxpayer dollars that flow to these families.

This not only is unfair to the millions of immigrants who have stood in line and played by the rules, it is especially unfair to U.S. taxpayers.   Continue reading ““Anchor Baby” IS Offensive — to U.S. Taxpayers”

Hillary Clinton: Too Big to Jail?

The American people are still smarting over the federal bailout of financial institutions that were largely responsible for the 2007 financial crisis, simply because they were deemed to be “too big to fail.”

Now, just eight years later, there is a new crisis at the very center of our government where the guilty party could skate by with a simple slap on the wrist simply because she may be deemed “too big to jail.”

We now know that Hillary Clinton lied, or more charitably, misspoke, when she told us empathetically that she did not send or receive any classified information on her personal email server which was kept at her home in Chappaqua, New York, while serving as secretary of state.   This is incredulous since we also know that she used this private server exclusively instead of the secure server at the State Department during her time there. Trump’s Biggest Deal

(2008 Clinton Campaign ad)

It’s 3 A.M., and your children are safe and asleep but there’s a phone and  it’s ringing in the White House . . .

(Implication:  Whom do you want to answer?)

In 2017, if Hillary Clinton is in the White House, she will pick up the phone when it’s from Donald Trump.  She will owe him, big time, and she likely will do whatever he asks.

If Donald Trump runs as a third party candidate, the man who brags about owning politicians will own this president of the United States because he will have put her there.   If he plays his cards right, he could become the richest man in the world at our expense.  Currently on the Forbes 500, Trump is 405th.  Continue reading “Trump’s Biggest Deal”

Outrageous Comments (Who’s Holding the Darlings of the Left Accountable?

Okay, “The Donald” put his foot in his mouth again over the weekend at the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa.   No one who has been watching him for very long was surprised.  When Trump attacked John McCain and said “He was a war hero because he was captured.”  He then added insult to injury by saying, “Personally, I like people who weren’t captured.” The words were barely out of his mouth before he corrected himself, but it was too late.  The sound bite was out there.  His critics pounced.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Donald Trump has not demonstrated that he has the temperament to be president.   When you put a man or woman in the Oval Office who has the black box with the codes to set off a nuclear weapon within arm’s reach, you want someone who has learned to control his or her emotions.     Continue reading “Outrageous Comments (Who’s Holding the Darlings of the Left Accountable?”

Why Donald Trump’s Star Is Rising (He’s Our Bernie Sanders)

Some are baffled that Donald Trump has ridden a sea of controversy to the top of the polls of GOP presidential candidates.

The same head-scratching is going on in Democrat circles over the irascible Bernie Sanders who is now within striking distance of their crown princess, Hillary Clinton.  How could this aging socialist threaten the planned coordination of their queen?

These two men are as far apart on the political spectrum as any two candidates can be, but they do have one thing in common:  bad hair.  Is America really yearning for a fright wig or a comb-over?

That’s not it. Continue reading “Why Donald Trump’s Star Is Rising (He’s Our Bernie Sanders)”

Why John Kasich Scares Me Most

Okay, he’s not officially in the race, and in the early polls he’s near the bottom, but I predict one of the last Republican candidates standing in the race for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination will be Ohio Governor John Kasich.

First and foremost, in the last three decades, with one notable exception, voters have selected a president the way a seven-year-old selects a Barbie doll.  They pick the one with the prettiest face.  That’s why Hillary has undergone a complete makeover.

Republicans desperately want to win this one.  That being the case, this beauty contest favors Marco Rubio or John Kasich.  Both have boyish good looks.  Even though Kasich is 19 years older than the junior senator from Florida, he still has what it takes in looks and personality to charm the voters. Dr. Carson to Emergency. Nation on Life Support!

“Is there a doctor in the house?”

Once upon a time, that phrase was a common occurrence when there was a medical emergency at a public venue.  Today, most doctors are afraid to treat medical emergencies outside of a hospital for fear of being sued.  Our healthcare system, which represents one-sixth of our economy, is upside down and Obamacare made the situation worse.

This inept president has put our country in the ER and it is doubtful that the USA, with its $18 trillion debt and future obligations that can’t possibly be met, can survive in its present form.  The current condition is not entirely Obama’s fault.  Career politicians from both political parties are to blame for this chronic condition.  However, it is Obama who has pushed us into the critical  care area.    Continue reading “Dr. Carson to Emergency. The Clintons’ “Get Rich Quick” Schemes

When Bill Clinton became president, he had earned a maximum salary of $35,000 as governor of Arkansas and another $5,000 from honorariums from speaking fees.   His wife, Hillary, pulled down $92,000 as a rainmaker at the Rose Law Firm.   Somehow, despite their modest incomes, and her profit sharing at Rose, they managed to accumulate assets greater than $1 million, which was placed in a public trust.

How did they do it?  No one knows for sure.  There was that infamous $100,000 Hillary supposedly made on cattle futures (no political payoff there).

The “Shred of Evidence” Against the Clintons

For all practical purposes the Clintons are a political team.  In the run-up to the 1992 presidential election, we were told we could “buy one, get one free.”  They would be “co-presidents.”

That line didn’t sit too well with the public so it eventually was dropped from the campaign.  Hillary took a more retiring role until Bill was elected.  However, once the deal was consummated with the American electorate, all that changed.  Hillary was the first first lady to move into the West Wing, where White House insiders have testified that she ruled this roost.

In his book, The Dysfunctional President, psychologist and historian Dr. Paul Fick made a compelling case that, when Hillary was away on a trip, no big decisions were made until she returned.  Bill simply couldn’t, or wouldn’t, function without her.  Through their triumphs and many scandals they often quarreled, but they never ceased to function as a united political machine.    Continue reading “The “Shred of Evidence” Against the Clintons”

Go ahead. Crown her Queen!

The British must be laughing at us.  We shake our heads and wonder why they have tolerated, if not worshipped, their royalty, while we, unofficially, do the same.

In England, the prime minister is burdened with the task of running the country.  He does the heavy lifting while the royals carry nothing at all.  They are coddled in luxury.  The queen is one of the richest people on earth, but the state supports her lavish lifestyle and that of the entire royal family.  It caters to their every whim.

Queen Elizabeth expects the “royal treatment,” much like our would-be queen, Hillary.

Most politicians are called by their surnames:  Governors Walker, Bush and Jindal; Senators  Cruz, Paul and Rubio; Dr. Carson; etc., but not Mrs. Clinton.  It is simply Hillary.  It’s on her campaign posters, buttons and signs.

Some believe it’s to separate herself from her husband.  She shunned his surname until it became necessary to hide her feminist leanings in order to help him regain the Arkansas governor’s mansion.  Once in the White House, it was Hillary Rodham-Clinton and now it is simply “Hillary.”

This is how it is done with the royals.  A monarch only uses his or her given name, as in Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, etc. Continue reading “Go ahead. Crown her Queen!”
